Location
We’re based in North Bar House a Grade-II listed building. It is a 3-storey, Georgian Townhouse and was built in 1758. It has since been converted into offices but has some of the original features including a well in the rear courtyard.
The earliest evidence of the bounds of Banbury is the location of the town’s four bars (north, south, east and west), which probably were built at its limits in the early 13th century. North Bar is first mentioned in 1268 and stood immediately south of the current junctions of the Warwick Road with North Bar Street which would have been just outside the current front door!

How to Find Us
Located in a prime position on North Bar Street, a professional district on the edge of Banbury’s period town centre, it is a short walk to shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a selection of nearby public car parks offering attractive rates. There is parking on both sides (east and west) of North Bar Street immediately outside the building. There is further parking about 200m further south (towards Oxford) on Horsefair and behind the building on Bolton Road (off Castle Street) there are two additional car parks.
